Autism 101: Teaching Students with Autism

The purpose of this workshop is to introduce applied behavioral analysis (ABA) and associated instructional methods based on ABA for teaching children with autism and developmental disabilities.  Included in the program will be strategies that are considered “best practices” which can be implemented in the classroom. This course is designed to assist teachers that are dealing with the many challenges associated with autism, behavioral / emotional disorders, and other developmental disabilities.  Cost is $150 per teacher for 2 days of instruction with hands-on activities.  Each session will have a maximum of 40 teachers.  Preregistration is required.  Please contact the Autism Center for more information at (662)840-0974 or Workshop attendees will receive one (1) CEU upon completion of the 2-day training.

Cost for the 2-day workshop is $150 per attendee.
