Autism Summer Workshop

Teaching Children with Autism

The purpose of this workshop is to introduce applied behavioral analysis (ABA) and associated instructional methods based on ABA for teaching children with autism and developmental disabilities. Included in the program will be strategies that are considered “best practices” which can be implemented in the classroom and the opportunity to work one-on-one with an assigned student. This course is designed to assist teachers that are dealing with the many challenges associated with autism, behavioral / emotional disorders, and other developmental disabilities.
Cost is $1,000 per teacher for 5 days of instruction with hands-on experience. *EARLY BIRD SPECIAL*  If you register more than 1 teacher before June 15, 2017, the cost is reduced to $750.00 per participant.  Each session will have a maximum of 15 teachers. Session 1: June 12-16, 2017 (CANCELLED); Session II: July 10-14, 2017. Lunch will be provided for 4 of the 5 days.  Preregistration is required.  Please contact ACNM for more information at 662-840-0974. Workshop attendees will receive three (3) CEU’s upon completion of the 5-day training.
